Cornwall Grey Plaid Wool Coat

I've finally got pictures of this coat I made awhile back. I made it out of a wool blanket and vintage buttons from my great grandmother. Lining is leftover fabric from the Jane Bennet Jacket.

Lady of the Marshalsea Fingerless Gloves with Vintage Buttons

It's that time of year again! I've got my crochet hooks out and I'm busily making warm things for winter. Probably my favorite thing to crochet at the moment is fingerless gloves. I love adding cuffs and buttons and trying to make each pair unique.
These grey fingerless gloves, inspired by Little Dorrit, are now listen in my SHOP. More to come soon. :)

Maid Marian Shrug

I was so inspired by Maid Marian's wardobe in the BBC television drama of Robin Hood. I love the way they mixed Medieval and modern. It gave me inspiration to make some pieces to wear with modern wear today. This was my first experiment. I made the pattern up.

I thought this clasp looked quite medieval and added a nice contrast with the pattern:

Another Regency Blouse

I just finished another Regency Blouse from the Sense and Sensibility pattern for a lovely customer. :)
Grossgrain ribbon accents the waistline:
Pretty gathered up sleeves with tiny bows and a little pearly bead:
And cute little detailed blue buttons do up the back:
I had fun making it. :)

I used the Sense and Sensibility Regency gown pattern to make a sweet blouse for summer:
